Guidance to the Jealous Wife

Hereunder are some advises:

  1. Rasulullah (Sallallaahu Alayhi Wasallam) advised, "Keep away from Zann (baseless doubts) as that is the biggest lie." Be positive in your approach. Allah Ta'ala has granted you the most beautiful asset - the beauty of Imaan. You safeguard your physical beauty only for your husband. You are different and unique from those women who leave their home. They are beautified by the Shaytaan for all and sundry. Be rest assured and your husband appreciates the one and solely dedicated to him.

  2. If both of you are not partaking meals from one plate, start eating in one plate. This will also create Mahabbat.

  3. As soon as he comes home: a) Meet him with a cheerful face, b) Beautify and perfume yourself, c) Start with good news and delay any bad news until he has rested, d) Receive him with loving sentences, e) Make an effort for excellence of the food and having it ready on time.

  4. Start collective recitation of the Kitaab, Fadhaail-e-Aamaal by Shaykhul Hadith Moulana Zakariyyah - it has proved effective.

  5. Du'aas to remove restlessness and grief, "Yaa Hayy, Yaa Qayyoom, bi rahmatika astagheeth". Hadhrat Anas ibn Maalik (RA) narrates that whenever Rasulullah (Sallallaahu Alayhi Wasallam) was overcame with any restlessness or sorrow he would read the above Du'aa.

  6. For Muhabbat (love and affection) between the husband and wife, recite 1000 times "Yaa Wadood".

Note: Jealousy is a sign for a wife's love for her husband but it should be kept within the limits of Islam.

and Allah Ta'ala Knows Best
